GOOD FRIENDS MAKE SUNDAY BRUNCH EVEN BETTER
My amigos Dave and Lori invited me along yesterday to the famous Sunday Brunch at the Sheraton Buganvilias. It's top rated as one of Puerto Vallarta’s best Sunday Brunches, and the place was hopping. With happy people and huge filled up plates. Let me tell you more.
THE MUSICIANS WERE COOKING TOO
In addition to all the sumptuous and abundant food at one of Puerto Vallarta’s best Sunday Brunches, the music makers were really cooking too. It was like being at a giant, fun party. Rotating bands took their turns playing. The happy, mellow sounds of Marimbas and Vibes played a set or two followed by a full blown, perfectly dressed, Mariachi Band, with blaring trumpets and sweet violins and a lead singer who made everyone put down their forks and applaud. One of the amigos at our table is a professional Bass player and she listened with a great big smile.
WAKE UP. EAT UP. GET UP IF YOU CAN.
The chefs that create these great Sunday Brunch in Puerto Vallarta, make it worth getting up early for the long tables of delicious Sunday brunch menu items from hand-made omelets to berry topped chocolate cakes, to bright yellow Paella with mussels, clams, sausage and shrimp. This Sunday brunch has prime ribs that are supersized and supernaturally tender. Baby backs and grilled fresh catch and more. I’m a foodie and I can assure you that you have never had a prime rib this fork tender in your life. There were omelets and salads, fruit and pastries. Of course, your mimosa flute was never allowed to go below half full and your plate was always full, full, until you finally said, “no mas, por favor.” After that there’s the beach or the pool or the hammock or maybe a good long hike on one of our jungle paths above the gentle sea.
